Randstad Professionals is specialized in the search and selection of Middle & Senior Management profiles. On behalf of our client, a multinational company of the Automotive sector, we are looking for a:

 

PROJECT PLANNING ENGINEER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Track the project planning and the respect of main project milestones through a robust management of dedicated KPIs, reporting to the Senior Program Manager potential deviations from the baseline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and update the project timeline, coordinating the team across the different steps of the project and ensuring the consistency with the official planning shared with the BoM and clients

  • Update and monitor on a weekly basis all project KPIs, with the freedom to propose new monitoring and reporting methods to make the PM approach more and more robust over time

  • Own and control all the documentation related to the project status, including presentations for Gate Review meetings and updates with the BoM

  • Identify gaps between planned and actual data and decide if / when to escalate program issues to the Senior Program Manager to guarantee their prompt resolution and avoiding impact on the project milestones

  • Join meetings with all company’s depts. and clients, being able to govern the entire project scenario and be proactive in proposing solutions to project issues and process improvement ideas

  • Collect all lessons learned related to project planning and implementation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering fields or Business Administration; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience

  • At least three years of experience in a similar role for OEMs or tier-1 suppliers

  • Excellent knowledge of English language

  • Availability to travel abroad (approximately 10% of the time)

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • good team spirit, robust method, quick proactivity, results-oriented approach, willingness to learn.

Salary Package:  the salary will be commensurate with the seniority of the candidate.

LOCATION: Southern Turin
