Randstad Professionals is specialized in the search and selection of middle, senior and top management profiles. On behalf of our client, a leading global supplier and manufacturer of products and solutions for Industrial markets, we are looking for a:

 

SALES AREA MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Sales Area Manager will report to EMEA Business Manager and will be responsible for managing, developing and consolidating the company's presence in the area of expertise, with a particular focus on Italy, Spain, Portugal and eastern Europe; the resource will also be responsible for offering technical-sales support for the management and development of the customer portfolio.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The main responsibility of this role is to deliver industrial business pipelines in the area in order to maximise revenue growth in new and existing key accounts, alongside increasing profitability against defined targets to achieve cash and profit improvement for the business.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

 

  • Focus and grow sales activity in order to maximise sales opportunities across customers in portfolio;
  • Business development, hunting and achieve new key customers in selected sales segment to increase sales and margin revenue;
  • New product development: working with and across functions to develop new and/or customized solutions for existing and new key account;
  • Develop clear and targeted business plans in order to increase sales and market share;
  • Assist in developing market strategies for segments;
  • Monitor customers’ financial performance as relates to individual customer sales strategies;
  • Develop, manage and maintain exceptional relationships with both internal and external customers;
  • Strictly respect the obligations set by Italian HSE Act (D. Lgs. 81/08) in accordance with the specific safety instructions related to the role.

           

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor (Bsc) or equivalent;
  • Experience within a sales function and managing key accounts (3-5 years) preferable in a multinational business environment (experience in the Automotive field should be an advantage);
  • Excellent knowledge of sales processes for technical and commodity consumable products through specialist distribution networks and end users;
  • Proficient use of CRM (Sales force will be a plus), Office (Powerpoint, Excel) and Social Network and Video Platforms (like teams, google meet, Skype Business, Zoom).

 

PERSONALITY & LANGUAGES

  • Highly proactive, flexible, self-motivated, driven and results-oriented;
  • The ability to develop relationships, negotiate and close business in a cross functional manner;
  • Good communication and decision-making skills;
  • First class presentation skills, both verbal and written;
  • Fluent English is mandatory, Spanish will be appreciated.

 

Salary Package: about 40K/45K RAL
