Major Account Manager Italy

 

Randstad Professionals is specialized in research and selection of middle and top management profiles. On behalf of our client, we are looking for:

 

  • Major Account Manager Italy

 

Responsabilities

 

Be the key driver and accept ownership for bringing opportunities to closure and meeting assigned revenue objectives each quarter;

• Drive the adoption of the Sales offer into significant private and public enterprises, selling to Director and CxO level;

• Retain and further develop an assigned customers base, significantly increasing the device equipment rate within existing accounts;

• Convert major users of competitors equipment;

• Win major new account opportunities;

• Develop and execute revenue-driven sales strategies and business plans to ensure growth and quota objectives are achieved with identified accounts;

• Develop a partnership approach by understanding customer markets, business, plans, issues, drivers, competitors, internal structure, key contacts, influencers, decision makers etc.

• To work either independently or in partnership with the channels to ensure objectives are met;

• To play a coordination role between key customers and selected channels, ensuring that regional deployment of our solutions can be smoothly implemented;

• To ensure that new product developments and beta program initiatives are quickly implemented and deployed in the key areas of the market;

• Monitor the market, maintaining an awareness of competitor activity and recommending appropriate counter measures which will enable to retain market leadership;

• Ensure administrative activities (forecasting, account planning, sales documentation, CRM etc.) are completed to the required standards

 

Requirements

•   The successful candidate will preferably have a degree with experience in telecommunications/high tech products and a proven record of selling to both direct and indirect channels;

•  Background in Communications technology companies and understanding/experience of Unified Communications and Call Centre Environments will be a clear plus;

• Solid relationship management and major account management experience in a professional organization;

 • Results oriented, self-starter, energetic, entrepreneurial individual placing primary focus on the departmental goals and objectives;

 • Experience in IT or telecoms solution sales to large accounts;

• Possessing a structured network of relationships at CxO level would be a plus;

• Expertise of different industry sectors;

• Structured and strategic approach to business planning;

• Proven business development abilities. Experience of structured sales techniques spanning the entire sales cycle. Knowledge of Solution Selling technique will be an advantage;

• Ability to use a wide range of skills (listening, questioning, qualifying, gaining commitment, negotiating, summarizing, closing etc.);

• Creative, logical, analytical person willing to try new approaches as may be required by the company and the marketplace;

• Commercially astute, with the ability to promote and sell our offer on a conceptual basis and through highlighting business benefit as well as product features;

• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels within and user prospects and clients;

• Ability to show leadership when managing the potentially competing requirements of customers, the business and the technology;

• Extensive knowledge of the clients’ processes and potential problems;

• Target driven, possessing passion and a commitment to exceed sales targets, and a proven track record of having done so;

• Ability to identify potential acquisition targets and bring these deals to closure;

• Articulate verbally and in writing in both Italian and English, a good communicator and presenter;

• Able to respond to requests for information, invitations to tender etc;

• Bachelor Degree;

• 60%-70% country traveling.
