Randstad Italia spa, In-house division, is searching a Power Solutions HW Design Engineer for a customer company in the aerospace industry.


Our power product team in Rome are looking for a junior power solutions HW Design Engineer to join them and take responsibility for design power solutions to various space equipments.

You will be part of a team including HW engineers. Your duties will include:

  • Definition of boards specifications
  • Definition and follow-on of development, validation and manufacturing plans
  • HW Design of power solutions with particular reference to:

            -Forward DC DC Converter

            -Flyback DC DC Converter

            -Push-Pull DC DC Converter

            -Series regulator

            -Switching Regulators

  • Execution of analysis and synthesis of control loop circuit in feedback system
  • Execution of Worst Case Analysis
  • Execution of Part Stress Analysis
  • Provide support to the FMEA specialist for the relevant analysis

You will interface and collaborate with other departments including project leaders, product lines, industrial engineering, manufacturing and marketing & sales.




  • Basic knowledge of space equipment standards and processes
  • Experience in power solutions HW design, engineering, integration and test
  • Experience in DC DC digital control loop
  • Knowledge of Cadence and Mentor DX Designer
  • Knowledge of P-Spice as circuital simulation tool
  • Laurea Magistrale or Master degree or relevant work experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks at one time, to work autonomously or in team
  • Attitude to problem solving and to achieve results within time and cost constraints
  • Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
