Randstad Italia spa, In-house division, is searching a Manufacturing AIT Propulsion Engineer for a customer company in the aerospace industry.

responsabilità

Candidate shall assume an active function as engineer to follow entire production flow of propulsion subsystems form pipe manufacturing to assembly and test at subsystem and spacecraft level. His duties will include:

  • Preparation of Assembly, Integration and test procedures starting from design files and specifications
  • Preparation of assembly, integration and test activity flow
  • Supervise manufacturing of propulsion components
  • Supervise Integration and Assembly of Propulsion S/S
  • Design and execution fluidic tests on Propulsion Sub systems
  • Design and execution functional tests at Subsystem and Spacecraft level
  • Participate in meetings with project manager and/or customer
  • Preparation of activity reports and test reports
  • Concurrent engineering with design authorities
  • Design and preparation of specifications for procurement of equipment and instrumentation and relevant follow on

competenze

  • Knowledge/Experience in pipe manufacturing and welding processes
  • Knowledge of metallic materials and relevant properties (mainly Stainless steel and Titanium alloys)
  • Knowledge of main manufacturing standards as ECSS, ASTM, SAE, ISO
  • Knowledge of Spacecraft Propulsion systems (principles, main components), preferably mono-propellant and electrical
  • Knowledge/experience in use of laboratory of fluidic test instrumentation and laboratory instrumentation
  • Knowledge/Experience in Non Destructive tests methods and processes for piping verification (dye penetrant, X ray and leak test)
  • Knowledge/experience in use of technical gases such Nitrogen, Helium, Argon and Xenon
  • Degree in engineering (aerospace, aeronautic, mechanic or chemical is preferable)
  • Team Working attitude, capability to work in stressing situations and in multi-cultural contexts.
  • Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
  • Knowledge/experience in use of Microsoft Office, MATLAB and CAD softwares
