Randstad HR Solutions on behalf of a global leader in power and automation technologies is looking for an Application Engineer in Santa Palomba (RM).

Our client is investing in expanding our Digital Team with new figures, able to develop their expertise in our market, drive innovation and create dynamic solutions. We are looking for engineers with a passion for e-mobility, smart home technology, IoT and smart energy distribution, for the role of Application Engineer in the Sales area. By starting your career, you will have the chance of becoming part of the Digital Generation Team, a multidisciplinary group of young professionals in the engineering, marketing, communication, business and design areas. As a team member, you’ll be able to develop your skills, learn, practice and experiment together with the rest of the team, the goal being to bring solutions to the market with an innovative approach. From day one, you’ll be able to put your abilities into practice and demonstrate your talents.

Being part of the Digital Generation program, you will be based in Bergamo for the first 6 months and then you will move to our location in Santa Palomba (RM).

responsabilità

Your main responsibility will be 
• Developing and leading value-based business opportunities within the assigned target areas and being responsible for both existing and new customers
• Leading cross-functional teams for the purpose of delivering outstanding solutions able to drive customer satisfaction and identify new opportunities
• Managing large-scale complex deals and requests for proposals, demonstrating superior knowledge of the market and building compelling value propositions that differentiate our solutions
• Mapping customers’ profiles and sales histories so as to start up sales actions and maximize sales process efficiency
• Providing meaningful insights able to influence the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
• Analyzing market trends and discovering relevant insights able to support solution evolution, sales and pricing
• Driving revenue growth directly as well as leveraging multiple distribution channels
• Accurate forecasting, sales metrics and communication; clear concise articulation
• Creating quality, qualified pipelines that rapidly lead to sales
• Tradeshow participation and support in generating qualified sales leads

competenze

• Master degree in Engineering 
• A passion for digital innovation and a strong interest in e-mobility, smart home technology, IoT, Industry 4.0 and renewable energy
• You must be an excellent listener of the market and possess the ability to react to customers’ needs, thus able to produce excellent propositions and draw up sales offers
• You must be a solution-oriented team player, able to work effectively both as part of the team and independently when handling multiple tasks and projects
• You must not be afraid of upcoming deadlines and must be able to work effectively under pressure
