Randstad Professionals is specialized in the search and selection of Middle & Senior Management profiles. On behalf of our client, a multinational company operating in the Automotive sector, we are looking for a:

 

ELECTRONIC HARDWARE ENGINEER

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for defining and completing products as related to electronic HW, performing product analysis of internally designed hardware sub-systems.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Work with the electronic hardware/firmware design architects to define specific  hardware/firmware safety requirements;

  • support hardware/firmware architectural design with functional safety analysis methods (FTA, DFA, FMEDA and FMEA);

  • support implementation of technical safety requirements at the hardware/firmware level;

  • support the electronic hardware team in getting FIT rates for hardware components;

  • develop verification and validation methods to support testing of hardware/firmware safety mechanisms;

  • define test procedures and support testing of hardware sub-systems;

  • document all relevant safety requirements, analysis, architecture implementation, verification, and validation for each sub-system.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master degree in Electronic / Electric Engineering or equivalent;

  • at least 5 years of experience in Automotive field or equivalent industries (e.g. Aerospace);

  • knowledge of controls systems and embedded software development;

  • good knowledge on engine management system electrical architecture;

  • detailed knowledge of electronics/firmware design and development process;

  • good Knowledge and experience in ISO 26262 and specifically of parts 5, 6, 8, 9 and 11;

  • good Knowledge of tools and methodologies for safety analyses (e.g. FTA -Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA - Failure Mode Effect Analysis, FMEDA - Failure modes, effects, and diagnostic analysis, DFA – Dependent Failure Analysis);

  • knowledge of Requirements and SW development management tools (e.g. Confluence and Jira).

 

SALARY PACKAGE: the salary will be commensurate with the seniority of the candidate.

LOCATION: Turin area.
